ClimateCalc is designed to calculate the carbon footprint of a product from an LCA perspective. Two types of labels are provided by ClimateCalc to document this calculation.

When the carbon footprint of a product is calculated using ClimateCalc, it’s possible to apply the label as shown below to the product. 

The label contains the certification number of the company that produced ​​the product, which can be used to determine, whether the company is certified via the list of certified companies.

Based on a product calculation via ClimateCalc the certified company can choose to purchase compensation for the product’s climate impact. If the climate impact of the product is compensated, it’s possible to apply the label as shown below to the product. The label contains the certification number of the company that produced ​​the product. This number can be used to determine, whether the company is certified via the list of certified companies.
